If you attended Birkman Signature Certification anytime after January 1, 2017, then yes, you qualify for ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) hours that you can use toward achieving or renewing your ICF credentials.
Birkman Signature Certification—ICF CCE hours awarded:
- Core Competencies: 5 hours
- Resource Development: 23 hours
If You Attended a Certification Outside the United States
Currently, certain Birkman Learning Partners are using the Birkman Signature Certification curriculum (approved for ICF CCE hours) and some are not. Please confirm with your facilitator directly if the Birkman Signature Certification curriculum was used in the course you attended.
If You Attended a Certification Prior to January 1, 2017
Birkman Signature Certification was built to comply with the ICF CCE framework and launched in January 2017. Any Birkman Certification courses held prior to January 2017 did not include the Signature Certification curriculum, and thus are not eligible for ICF CCE hours.
Even if you attended a different Birkman Certification in the past, you are welcome to attend a Birkman Signature Certification in the future and earn ICF CCE hours as you refresh your Birkman knowledge.
