Additional Information on MyBirkman Privacy Settings

Within MyBirkman, you as the user can choose either Private or Public mode based on the level of data visibility you prefer. 

• By choosing Public, users in your organization will be able to view your data regardless of their data-sharing status. You won’t be able to access colleagues who choose to go private, but you can send them an invitation to establish a connection. You can switch your sharing status anytime. Your existing connections will be maintained.  
• By choosing Private, your data will be concealed from colleagues who you are not connected with. You can individually request colleagues you’d like to add to your Connections. Your name will appear on the Directory for your organization and others will be able to request to connect with you. You can switch your sharing status anytime. Your existing connections will be maintained.
