Who will benefit from the consolidated login feature?
If you have multiple login credentials for various BirkmanDirect accounts, you will benefit from the consolidated login feature. This feature was created to enable users to have only one username and password for all Birkman accounts. For example, if you have a login for a full access account and a login for a Birkman on Demand (BOD) or Insights only account, you can now consolidate these two accounts.
Who should NOT consider the consolidated login feature?
If you have only one BirkmanDirect account, you do not need to consolidate your accounts. If you share your login credentials (username and password) with others, you should not consolidate your accounts until you have spoken with our support group. They will be able to guide you through this process.
Why can’t I use one of my existing usernames when consolidating?
The username for your consolidated accounts must be new and unique. To make logging into your account easier, the email address you enter when setting up your consolidated login account will now be your new username.
Why doesn’t my “regular” or original login work now that I have consolidated the logins for my accounts?
Once consolidated, an account’s previous username and password will no longer work. Access to accounts that have been consolidated must be accessed through the new consolidated username (email address) and password
I’ve consolidated one account. How do I consolidate another one?
To consolidate additional accounts, login to the consolidated account and click “Consolidated Logins” from the home screen. On the new screen click “Add Logins” and proceed as requested.
I am not receiving the email to confirm my consolidation, so I can’t take the next step. What do I do?
If you are not receiving the email allowing you to consolidate, you will need to contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 713-623-2760. This is likely happening because Birkman has a different email address associated with the login for this account. It could be that we have an outdated email address on file and we simply need to update our records. It could also be that you are sharing your login access with others. Support can help you with updating the account so that everyone can consolidate.
How do I pay my bills if I have consolidated my accounts?
Consolidating your logins does not combine the accounts. You will still need to pay each account’s invoices separately.
If I consolidate my accounts, can I consolidate my invoices?
No, consolidating logins does not combine the invoices. You will need to select each account to view that account’s activity and invoices.
Can I consolidate my access to the Birkman Learning System (BLS)?
We do not currently offer the ability to consolidate logins between the BLS and BDirect.
I know several people at my company that are using the same login information as me. Can I consolidate?
If you share your login information with others in your organization, you will need to speak with our support group before consolidating. Each person will need to have a unique login before you can begin the consolidation process. For example, if there are several people sharing a login for a full access account and limited access account, each person will need to have a unique login provided by support before everyone can consolidate their access.
How do I transfer reports now that I have consolidated the logins for my accounts?
The transfer process has not changed as a result of the consolidated login feature.
Am I required to consolidate my logins?
No. While the consolidation feature has been a common request from our customers, you do not have to switch your account to a consolidated login. You can continue to access your accounts as you have been doing.
Why did Birkman decide to offer the consolidation feature?
We listened to you! Many of you have multiple accounts with Birkman. These can be access related (full access vs limited access), or they can be because you want a personal account along with your corporate account. Prior to the consolidated login feature, each of these accounts required separate login credentials. Many of our customers have requested they be allowed to access these accounts by using only one login – making it easier for them to access BirkmanDirect.
I only have one account with Birkman? What should I do?
There is no need to consolidate if you only have one account with Birkman.
How do I remove the consolidation on any of my accounts?
To remove consolidation on one or more of your accounts, click the “Remove Account” button for each account on the Consolidated Logins screen. A popup box will then ask if you are sure this is what you want to do. Click “OK”.
What accounts can I consolidate?
Any account you are accessing through BDirect can be consolidated as long as you are not sharing your login credentials with anyone else. Consolidation can occur for various levels of report access (Full, BOD/Insights/Basics, etc.). You can also consolidate your personal accounts and your corporate accounts. Remember, you are only consolidating the login process – not the accounts themselves. All data remains in the specific account. So, corporate accounts do not co-mingle information with non-corporate accounts, etc.
